Weekday Masses: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at 9.30am.
Confessions (Sacrament of Reconciliation & Penance) on Saturdays at 4.30pm and again
immediately after Vigil Mass on request.
WELCOME to Sister Catherine Corrigan, Provincial of the Sisters of Our Lady of the
Missions, visiting Sr Mary Frances and our parish this weekend. Cead Mile Failte!

FRIDAY: St Fillan’s School will join in the 9.30am Mass, it being the First Friday.
NEXT SUNDAY: Building Fund Special Collection (first Sunday of the month)
ADVENT PROJECTS 2023 – two initiatives of our St Vincent de Paul Conference this Advent:
1) Support for the Wayside Club for the Homeless, Glasgow. Warm clothing urgently required.
2) Support local Foodbank – tins and toiletries – all gratefully received from next Sunday.
MASS OF COMMITMENT at 11.00am Mass today for boys and girls of Primary 7, St Fillan’s
School, preparing for to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on 15 th May 2024. We pray also for
their parents and sponsors that they may be true to their original baptismal commitment and support
the children’s growth in the faith by good example and regular practise.
CATHOLIC EDUCATION: special focus during Masses this weekend, with school participation.
SCHOOL ASSEMBLY: in St Fillan’s Primary School on Wednesday at 11.00am, anticipating St
Andrew’s Day with a Celebration of Scotland, in Music and Song. All welcome in the school-hall.
CHRISTMAS CRAFT SALE: Sr Mary Frances and a few friends have been busy for some months
now preparing festive craft-items for her annual charity sale in St Fillan’s. The sale will begin next
Sunday – First Sunday of Advent. All proceeds-raised will go to support the Sisters of Our Lady of
the Missions Solidarity Fund, and also the decoration of the altar over the Christmas season.
CHRISTMAS CARDS & ART CALENDARS 2024: available now at piety-stall, by main-entrance.
FIRST FRIDAYS FOR LIFE: this Friday, 1st December, at St John’s, Barrhead. Beginning with
silence and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and opportunity for Confessions, available from 6pm.
Holy Mass for Pro Life mission at 7pm. Will you fast and pray each First Friday for Life?
