NO Vigil Mass at 5pm next week. Easter Vigil Mass 8.00pm on Holy Saturday.
Today, Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week.
Weekday Masses: this week - Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30am.
Wednesday: Chrism Mass with Bishop John in St Mirin’s Cathedral at 7.00pm.
Morning Prayer on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday at 9.30am.
Maundy Thursday – Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7.00pm.
Watching at Altar of Repose until 10.00pm – Night Prayer – 10.00pm
Good Friday – Day of Fast and Abstinence.
Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion and Veneration of the Cross at 3.00pm.
Stations of the Cross at 7.00pm.
Special Collection for the “Holy Places” after all Services on Good Friday.
Holy Saturday: Easter Vigil of the Resurrection of the Lord at 8.00pm.
Confessions (Sacrament of Reconciliation & Penance) in St Fillan’s during this coming Holy
Week. On Tuesday evening at 7.00 – 7.30pm and on Wednesday morning at 11.30am. On
Maundy Thursday at 11.30am and on Good Friday, final opportunity for Sacrament of
Confession before Easter, from 12.15 to12.45pm.

EASTER FLOWERS: the small collection basket raised £350 and funds flowers and the
suitable decoration of the altar during Eastertide. Your support was appreciated.
NEW OFFERING COLLECTION ENVELOPES (for beginning of financial year 2024-25)
Gift Aid envelopes - box sets of both the Offertory and Special Collection envelopes will be
delivered to the appropriate participants before 5th April. If you are not an existing
participant, but wish to be included in this practice then please inform Fr. Andrew as soon as
possible.
Non-Gift Aid envelopes - we have a small number of box-sets of Offertory Collection
envelopes. These will be displayed at the side entrance/exit to the church commencing
Saturday 22nd March and available for uplift/collection on a 'first come' basis.
A QR CODE is included in this week’s bulletin for those who wish to make an
electronic donation to our rebuild fund - St Fillan’s Restoration.
