Today, Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week.
Weekday Masses: Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30am.
Wednesday: Chrism Mass in St Mirin’s Cathedral at 7.00pm.
Morning Prayer on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday at 9.30am.
Maundy Thursday – Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7.00pm.
Watching at Altar of Repose until 10.00pm – Night Prayer.
Good Friday – Day of Fast and Abstinence.
Children’s Stations of the Cross (for young families) at 11.30am.
Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion and Veneration of the Cross at 3.00pm. Stations of the Cross at 7.00pm.
Special Collection for the “Holy Places” after all Services on Good Friday.
Holy Saturday: Easter Vigil of the Resurrection of the Lord at 9.00pm (this most Solemn Vigil Mass must begin only after nightfall – in Houston that is at 8.47pm, dusk.)
Confessions (Sacrament of Reconciliation & Penance) ample opportunity during this coming Holy Week. On Tuesday evening at 7.00 – 7.30pm and on Wednesday morning at 11.30am. On Maundy Thursday at 11.30am and on Good Friday, final opportunity for Sacrament of Confession before Easter, from 12.15 to12.45pm.
