Sunday 24th December (Fourth Sunday of Advent) Mass at 9.30am only.

Please note: no 11.00am Mass on Sunday 24th December at St Fillan’s.

Christmas Eve (24th December) Vigil Mass at 3.30pm for infants and young children.

                                                     *Solemn Mass of Christmas Night at 8.00pm.*

Christmas Day Masses on Monday at 9.30am and 11.00am.

 

New Year’s Day Mass at 11.00am - Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. World Day of Prayer for Peace. Special Collection for the work of Justice & Peace (Scotland)

 

Weekday Masses: this week (and next) on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at 10.00am.

 

Confessions (Sacrament of Reconciliation & Penance) onSaturdays at 4.30pm.

CAROLS IN THE CATHEDRAL: annual carol service at St Mirin’s Cathedral, this Wednesday (27th December) at 2.30pm. All welcome to Cathedral Hall o/c for refreshments.  The collection at this Diocesan Carol Service will aid the work of SPRED. 

THANK YOU: the Christmas Craft Sale of Sr Mary Frances and friends raised an amazing £790 supporting the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions Solidarity Fund, and also the decoration of the altar over Christmas season. Sincere thanks to all who supported their initiative.

 

SPECIAL COLLECTION for Building Fund at Masses on 6th / 7th January 2024 (first Sunday of month)                                     

 

Safeguarding Training in 2024: The Scottish Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency has reorganised safeguarding induction training into one course only, combining the previous Parts 1 & 2. If you are a new volunteer or one who completed the Part 1 training course more than a year ago, you are invited to sign up for a Safeguarding training session, the next, taking place on:  Tuesday 16th January at 7pm in St. Mirin’s Cathedral Hall.
