June: this month is dedicated to the honour of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

 

Vigil Mass (Saturday) 5.00pm. Holy Mass at 9.30 & 11.00am on Sunday.

Weekday Mass: Tuesday, this week, at 7pm.

Wednesday and Thursday at 9.30am.

Friday: Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Mass at 9.30am in St Fillan’s.  Also, Mass in St Benedict’s High School at 12.25pm

Rosary before each weekday Mass at 9.10am.

Confessions (Sacrament of Reconciliation & Penance) on Saturdays at 4.30pm.

 

Your prayers, please for our parish family: Grace Parsons, Ryan Mulholland, Maisie Reed and Paul Kearney - their carers, all those in hospital and our residential homes and for all suffering in mind and body today: Lord, bless them with your grace and peace.

FORTY HOURS Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament beginstoday (Sunday) in St Margaret’s, Johnstone and continuesuntil Tuesday evening. The church will be opened after morning Mass each day until the end of the last liturgy of that day.
Sunday - Evening Prayer and Benediction 6pm.
Monday - Mass 10am, Evening Prayer 4pm, Holy Hour and Benediction 7pm.
Tuesday - Morning Mass 10am.  Solemn Closing Mass 7pm.

MALAWI – thanks on behalf of St Benedict’s to those who knitted/ donated warm baby clothing for the forthcoming senior pupils’ mission-trip to Malawi. Greatly appreciated.  We keep the success of this youth initiative in our prayers.

 

SPRED: Bishop John will celebrate a special SPRED End-of-Year School Mass for pupils, their families and staff from our Additional Support Needs Schools on Wednesday, 5thJune 2024 at 1pm in St Mirin’s Cathedral, Paisley. A warm welcome is extended to anyone wishing to attend.

FIRST FRIDAYS FOR LIFE this Friday, 7th June in St Thomas', Neilston. Confessions at 6pm and concluding with Mass at 7pm.  All welcome.
