Thank you for your continued generosity in making these long-overdue
renovations, possible.

SAFEGUARDING THOUGHT: safeguarding is a duty, rooted in the message of Jesus
and in the very mission of the Church.

NOVENA PRAYER FOR PENTECOST: remembering, especially, those to be
confirmed this week, who participated in a most memorable and really enjoyable
Retreat-Day last week up in the hall, down in the garden and within the church.
Thanks to Sr M. Frances, Mrs McVicker and Mrs McAlaney who helped with all the
preparations. Below, is a favourite prayer of the late Bishop McGill. He inscribed
this prayer in my missal on the occasion of my own Confirmation. I share it now
with you as we prepare for Confirmations and the week ahead as our Pentecost
Novena.

O Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul, I adore You.
Enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, console me.
Tell me what I should do; give me Your grace.
I promise to submit myself to all that You desire of me
and to accept all that You permit to happen to me.
Let me only know Your Will.
