SPECIAL COLLECTION for Building Fund this weekend.

SINCERE THANKS to the very many of you who have given generously of your time and energy this past week both for the success of the enjoyable parish-social Coffee Morning, Raffle and Silent Auction, last Sunday, which raised an amazing £1,100 for the restoration fund. Also, to those who helped prepare for the visit of Bishop John and our visitors from across the diocese for the Pro-Life Mass on Friday evening.  Following that Mass, our first May Procession to Our Lady’s Garden Grotto of 2024 took place (in sunshine!)This really delightful evening concluded with “Cheese and Wine” evening around the specially erected marquee in the parish garden – substituting for our parish-hall, which as you know is undergoing huge restoration works at this time, thanks to your continued support and generosity.

PETITION forms in support of the St Fillan’s Restoration Project available: thanks to those who have completed and returned them.  If you are still to collect one, some are still available at the main door and also in the online format. Please ensure that these petition forms receive maximum support in among your families, neighbours and local community and are all completed and returned as soon as possible.

NEXT WEEKEND: Special Collection for Bishops’Communications Fund.
