DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO CARFIN: next Sunday 22nd May. Mass of Anointing of the Sick will be celebrated at 3pm followed by the Rosary Procession which will take place at 5.30pm. Catering facilities are available at the shrine. All welcome.
CONGRATULATIONS to the eleven children from Primary 4, St Fillan’s School who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday 14th May: Eve, Niamh, Ava, Yasmin, Ciaran, Caolan, Kayla, Oscar, Carter and Chloe and Daniel. Truly a moment of grace in the lives of our children, families and parish. Sincere thanks to all who helped with the preparations for the great occasion, especially, their class teacher, Miss Duffy and Sr Mary Frances for their wonderful support of the children.

PLATINUM JUBILEE VILLAGE CELEBRATION: on Friday 3rd June, following the Joint-Service in Houston-Killellan Church at 12noon, there will be a whole village social event in our (St Fillan’s) garden between 1.00pm – 4.00pm. This is the first time since the onset of the Pandemic that we have we have an outdoor opportunity to get-together. I hope that you will be able to join me and enjoy the afternoon.
