for those discerning a call to priesthood or religious life. Is that you? Speak
to our Vocations Director, Fr. John Morrison, tel: 0141 889 5056 or email:
vocations@rcdop.org.uk. Please, also, remember the Special Collection

COFFEE MORNING after 11am Mass today - to support the forthcoming Catholic
Student-Teachers’ Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. This social event is organised by
Marc Rennie and student friends. All welcome.

EPISCOPAL VISITATION next Saturday 6th May and Sunday 7th May we shall
welcome Bishop John Keenan to St Fillan’s. He will join us for the celebration of all
our Masses and looks forward to meeting as many of you as possible. On this
Vocations Sunday, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday, please pray also for
Bishop John, our diocese and our parish family that this time among us may be
blessed with many graces.

As we begin the month of May, the month of Our Blessed Lady, tomorrow (Monday)
Keep in our prayers those boys and girls who will soon be receiving First Holy
Communion and those celebrating Confirmation later in the month. Your prayers
for all those involved are appreciated, and for our young people sitting important
examinations at this time of year. Perhaps take a walk into Mary’s Garden/Shrine
to do so – a place of beauty, prayer and peace, at its very best in this late spring
time – Eastertide and May.

We entrust the busy month ahead to the Loving Heart of the Risen Christ, the Good
Shepherd, the true and living Bread of Life.

Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom: pray for us. St Joseph the Worker, pray for us.
