NOVEMBER: month of prayer for the souls of the faithful departed, the Holy Souls is now begun. Participation (attentive prayer) in the offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the greatest act of faith and love one can make for those who have died. As part of the Communion of the saints they rely on our prayers and remembrance. Please take a November Remembrance (list and envelope) home with you. Thank you to the many of you who have already done so. Please return your list as soon as you are able. These can be placed in the basket before the lectern or in the letterbox of the parochial house, Abbotsfield. The envelopes are then opened and placed in the burse by the altar. Holy Mass is offered each day during November for those whose names are included in these remembrance lists. Your donation-enclosed is for the offering of such November Masses and is gratefully appreciated.                                                                                                             AMcF
