Lenten Catechesis 2023: Jesus: The Source of Eternal Life. The diocese is holding two
Lenten talks to prepare us for the Easter. Again, this can be a worthwhile Lenten
penance for those who are wondering what to do this year. Next Sunday, 12th
March, Bishop High Gilbert of Aberdeen will reflect on Jesus and the Woman at the
Well and on Sunday 26th March, Bishop Brian McGee of Argyll and the Isles will
reflect on Jesus and Lazarus. Both begin at 2pm and conclude at 4pm. As well as the
bishop’s catechesis there will be Testimony from Young People, Solemn Evening
Prayer and Benediction with music led by our Diocesan Choir. Please note this
Lenten gathering is an in-person event therefore the Livestream will not be available.

APPEAL from Sr M. Frances for small devotional objects: medals, rosaries etc for her mission-work.

These can be placed in the box on table at front door of church. Thanks to those who have responded.

Parish Finance Team - are looking for additional members again to assist with the counting
of the weekly Offertory and the periodic Special collections. If enough members volunteer
then the likely duration and frequency for each participant could be two hours per
month. Please contact Fr Andrew if you wish to assist the parish with the essential task.
Lent: good numbers attended Stations of the Cross and World Day of Prayer last week.
How is your Lent going? Maybe time to (re) start? Penance? Prayer, fasting and almsgiving.
