Month of the Holy Rosary: prayer for the World Mission of Church this Mission Sunday.
Vigil Mass (Saturday) 5.00pm. Holy Mass at 9.30 & 11.00am on Sunday.
Weekday Masses: this week, on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 9.30am.
Requiem Mass for the late Kenneth Lethorn on Friday at 9.30am. May he rest in peace.
Confessions (Sacrament of Reconciliation & Penance) on Saturdays at 4.30pm and
again immediately after Vigil Mass on request.

SERVICE OF PEACE: St Charles’ Church, Paisley (PA2 6DU) this Sunday, 22nd October,
at 3.00pm, followed by tea, coffee and cakes in the hall. Everyone is most welcome to come
along and join us in prayer for our world.
FAMILY DAY WITH MARY: join families from throughout the diocese at St John’s,
Barrhead(G78 2RW) next Sunday 29 th  October for an afternoon of celebration and fun in
honour of Mary our Mother, including prayer, activities and games for children. The day will
begin with refreshments at 2pm and conclude with Holy Mass at 4pm celebrated by Bishop
John.
 
RACE NIGHT: fundraiser event for new laptops for our St Fillan’s Primary School on Friday
3 rd November at 7pm in Linwood (Peter Scarff Social Club - PA3 3AP) Tickets for the event
on sale after Masses next weekend.
PRO LIFE: the annual Torchlight Procession from George Square to St Andrew’s Cathedral,
Glasgow will take place this Thursday, 26 th October, beginning at 6.30pm.
Remember to pray for peace between Palestine and Israel, and in the Middle East. October is also
the Month of the Our Lady’s Rosary. Pope Francis has been encouraging us all recently to rediscover
the beauty and grace of this prayer. Can you join-in our daily public Rosary before each weekday
Mass or pray at home? Pray for peace - in the world, in our country, in our homes and in our own
lives.
